The Mermaid Cafe Has Become Quite Large
Posted by matt at about 8am on Thursday May 1, 2008Hey There.
Have you been to The Merm lately? You know, the place that used to be the cute little cafe with 4 stools, a counter, and really incredible espresso drinks?
Well let me tell you buddy, some things have changed. The Mermaid is now really pretty big, as evidenced by the photo here. They are now making all of their own baked goods and soups as well. And they have added on to their kick axe sandwich menu which includes "Matt's Early Riser", my personal favorite.
The Merm will be formally unveiling its latest incarnation on Saturday May 17th. Please come down and see what all the kids are talking about. The Mermaid is located at 1929 Winnebago Street just a dirt clod toss away from the eastside's historic Schenk's Corner. See you there...
